Eligibility Criteria

 Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189)

This visa is a point-tested stream. Skilled visa workers under the visa are not sponsored by Australia-based employers, family members, or nominated by a state or territory.

• Must be under 45 years of age
• Score a minimum of 65 points or more (an indicative points score is given during EOI submission in SkillSelect.
•  Have a competent level of English.
• Meet the health and character requirements.
•  Have paid any debt by making arrangements for payback to the Australian government.
•  Sign the values statement of Australia saying you will respect and obey the Australian way of life.
•  Did not have an earlier visa canceled or its application refused.

Skilled Nominated visa (Subclass 190)

• Get a nomination from an Australian state or territory.
•  Have your occupation on the updated skilled list of jobs.
•  Get a suitable skills assessment issued by assessing authorities of the relevant occupation.
•  Get an ITA after an EOI submission to SkillSelect
•  Meets health and character requirements.
•  Score a minimum of 65 points or more to qualify for eligibility criteria for Australia PR
•  Age should be between 18 to 44 years

 Subclass 491

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa

• This visa is for those skilled professionals who wish to live and work in regional Australia.
•  With this visa, you can live, work, and study in a designated Australia regional area.
•  You can apply for permanent residence through this visa after 3 years.
•  Have a job on the relevant skilled occupation list.
•  Fulfill the points test of a minimum of 65 or more
•  You must be nominated by a state or territory government agency, or a qualified relative should sponsor

 Subclass 494

Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) visa

• Under this visa subclass, the applicant is nominated by an approved work-related sponsor.
•  The business of this employer should be operational in a lawful manner in Australia.
•  You should be hired to work in a nominated profession. Also, in a position within the sponsoring business or an associated organization of that business.
•  This should be situated in a designated regional area of Australia.
•  As a primary visa candidate, you must showcase your skills, credentials, and work experience needed to work in the nominated job.
•  Have your profession on the related skilled occupation list.
•  Be under 45 years of age
• Meet the minimum requirements for fluency in the English language.
•  You can stay for up to 5 years with this visa
