Move to Saskatchewan from India with a Job Offer

5-Compelling--Reasons-to-apply-for-the-Saskatchewan-Provincial-Nominee-Program

Do you wish to work in Canada, earn high wages, enjoy a better life, and free healthcare? Then there is no better place than Canada. Particularly for skilled workers, Saskatchewan is one of the top destinations with jobs available in sectors like agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, and more.

If you meet these three conditions, you can apply for PNP Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker – Employment Offer category:

  1. You have a valid full-time, permanent job offer in a skilled occupation in Saskatchewan
  2. You meet the criteria of the sub-category.
  3. You intend to live in Saskatchewan as a permanent resident.

Note that all the nominees with temporary work permits must live in Saskatchewan only.

Who is eligible?

You may qualify for the Employment Offer sub-category if:

  • You currently live outside Canada or have proof of legal status in Canada & are not a refugee claimant.
  • Score a minimum of 60 points on the SINP points assessment grid.
  • Have a minimum of one year of work experience in the last 10 years.
  • Have a language proficiency score of CLB 4 (note that some employers may ask for a language score with a score higher than CLB 4).
  • If your occupation is in a regulated profession or compulsory apprenticeship trade, you must be eligible for Saskatchewan licensing.
  • Your job offer must be permanent and full-time. Also, you required a valid SINP Job Approval Letter. Employers are required to register with the SINP and get the Job Approval Letter and shall provide it to you if you meet the hiring qualifications.
  • Your profession must be listed in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) TEER level 0, 1, 2, or 3 or in a designated trade in the province. Having the NOC code of your profession makes it easier to figure out how to find jobs in Canada from India.

Who isn’t eligible to apply?

If you fall under the following category, you cannot apply:

  • If you claim refugee status from the Canadian government.
  • Healthcare workers who – at the moment – are not eligible for the International Healthcare Worker EOI Pool must apply to the SINP Health Professional sub-category.
  • Food and Beverage Servers/Persons

Further, you may not be eligible to apply for SINP if:

  • You don’t submit the supporting documents with your application.
  • You are unable to prove your plans to live and work in Saskatchewan.
  • You and your representative deliberately misrepresented yourselves in the application.
