We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple complex technical projects within our client organizations. This is a hands-on role.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines that align with organizational goals and priorities.
- Create and maintain project schedules, and resource plans.
- Evaluates complex situations using multiple sources of information filters, validates and interprets dynamic material
- Manages and appropriately escalates: delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated to the product development initiatives
- Defines project scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners.
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including team members, senior management, and external vendors.
- Monitor project progress and take corrective action as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
- Mentor and provide guidance to client managers as needed.
- Help manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and customer interviews to identify market opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Work closely with sales, support and marketing teams to help develop go-to-market strategies, pricing, and messaging.
- Analyze product performance metrics and user feedback to help identify areas for improvement and inform future product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a software development environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion.
- Strong leadership skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- PMP certification is a plus.
