JOB TITLE: Sr. Fullstack Python, React Developer w/ AI interest

Overview:
Our client is looking for a very strong Software Engineer to join their growing team. An individual who consistently follows the industry’s best practices and is able to implement them efficiently. Someone who can lend their expertise and technical skills while working directly with the team will fit well with this team.
Responsibilities:
- Thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, building a brand new product which is entirely a new technology.
- Writing scalable code using the raw Python programming language, not frameworks.
- Testing and debugging applications.
- Developing back-end components.
- Integrating user-facing elements using server-side logic.
- Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests.
- Integrating data storage solutions.
- Reprogramming existing databases to improve functionality.
Qualifications
- 10+ Years of experience in Python (preferably fastapi or similar)
- Understanding of Object-Oriented design patterns and principles.
- Master in the Javascript library
- Experience working with the latest AI technologies and trends.
- OpenAI APIs, PaLM 2 APIs
- Comprehension of common data structures and algorithms.
- Vast experience designing APIs, database models and schemas.
- Advanced proficiency with postgresql and relational databases including schema design and normalization.
- Nice to have: Experience with infrastructure components such as Kubernetes, Dockers, Github CI/CD, and cloud technologies.Deep understanding of internet concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, caching, load balancing). Familiarity and experience with Continuous Integration/CD concepts.
- English level: Professional
