The Content team is responsible for exabytes of data representing users' lives and memories thus is expected to strictly adhere to strong standards of data durability. Applications include drive, photos, videos, and many other iCloud-supported apps. This involves finding the most optimal storage location and vendor for the asset based on asset type, encrypt the data to ensure Apple’s privacy standards are met with, grooming these assets regularly and providing the best route for these assets to be fetched with the least latency possible.
