Cloud Systems Administrator (Windows & RHEL)

Enterprise Horizon is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Windows/RHEL Systems Administrator to join our team and support our client at NAVSUP BSC (Business Systems Command). The project is based in Mechanicsburg, PA and remote work is available. Responsibilities may include:

• Instantiate & manage AWS Compute instances (in coordination with ISSO and PjM)
  • EC2 WIN2K19, RHEL 8
    • Manage uptime scheduling
• Manage AWS Compute Storage
  • EBS
    • Backups, but not a significant effort, with whole drive restore if requested
  • EFS
  • FSx Win
• Perform OS STIG Checks as requested
• Administer the VDMS systems
  • SFTP
  • SMTP / Email Relay
  • Windows Domain Controller
  • Active Directory to support PUA
  • Bastion Hosts (including those in VDSS)
  • AMI “Gold” Images
  • Win RDS
  • Excluding App Dynamics and SPLUNK administration
  • WSUS
• Apply EC2 OS patching (automated via WSUS and Ansible)
• Assist app teams with troubleshooting

Work Schedule: Remote work is available. Occasional on-site meetings to interface with the client is highly desired

Requirements

• Active DoD Public Trust or higher level clearance required
• Security+ certification required
• Relevant OS certification preferred
• Strong systems administration experience to include Windows and RHEL (Red Hat Linux)
• Excellent communication skills
• Federal NIST STIG experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to collaborate closely with NAVSUP team to resolve issues and make decisions

Military Installation Access:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance is required.
• Must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass in a timely manner.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including an FBI fingerprint check.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to pass IT1 security clearance with SSBI checks.

Pay Scale

$110,000 to $135,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
