About This Role

NinjaCat is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate Technical Project Manager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the successful execution of technical projects. As an Associate Technical Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities to ensure timely delivery, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with the overall project objectives.
    • Track and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  2. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries.
    • Maintain regular communication channels to provide project updates and address concerns.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
    • Maintain accurate records of project activities, decisions, and outcomes.
    • Generate reports and presentations when needed to help communicate project status to stakeholders.
  4. Agile Methodologies:
    • Familiarity with Kanban or Scrum methodologies and their application in project management.
    • Ability to facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
    • Proficiency in creating and managing Kanban boards, including setting up and visualizing work flows, managing work in progress (WIP) limits, and tracking cycle times.
    • Understanding of backlog management, prioritization techniques, and user story refinement.
    • Familiarity with agile principles and the ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Understanding how and when to problem solve on your own or to ask for help
  • Prior experience in project management or coordination, preferably in a technical environment, or entry-level training.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and completeness in project deliverables.
  • Beginner level proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with Kanban or Scrum methodologies and their application in project management.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.

Benefits

Cash compensation for this role includes a base salary in the range of $62,000 to $75,000, but may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
